The Programme Coordinator assists the Manager in overseeing the Appropriate Adults Programme for Persons with MentalDisabilities (AAPMD) Scheme. The AAPMD Scheme seeks to support persons with intellectual disabilities, autism spectrumdisorders (ASD), or mental health conditions by facilitating their interviews with relevant law enforcement agencies.The Programme Coordinator plays a key role in ensuring programme effectiveness, service quality, and stakeholderengagement through programme coordination, volunteer management, and outreach efforts.A resourceful, proactive, and client-focused professional, the Programme Coordinator works across community,institutional, and voluntary welfare settings to support programme delivery.
1. Programme & Call Centre Coordination
- Oversee the Call Centre's operations to ensure effective support for the AAPMD programme.
- Monitor service quality, compliance and staff performance, and implement improvements where needed.
- Analyse operational data and provide regular updates and recommendations to the Manager.
2. Volunteer Recruitment & Development
- Coordinate volunteer recruitment and screen prospective volunteers to build a strong pool of active volunteers.
- Develop and conduct training to equip volunteers with the knowledge, skills and standards required for the programme.
- Provide ongoing coaching, guidance and support to strengthen volunteer capability and effectiveness.
3. Volunteer Management & Engagement
- Manage volunteer policies, processes, records and training requirements, ensuring compliance across programmes.
- Identify volunteer needs and gaps, implement risk management measures, and address volunteer concerns promptly.
- Drive volunteer engagement, recognition and reactivation initiatives to strengthen retention and long-term participation.
4. Stakeholder & Community Engagement
- Build and maintain relationships with social service organisations, community partners, corporate partners and government agencies.
- Coordinate with external organisations and stakeholders to support programme delivery and volunteer recruitment.
- Conduct outreach activities and support community engagement plans to raise awareness and strengthen the volunteer network.

Qualifications
- Diploma/Degree preferably in social work or related-fields with 1- 2 years working experience.
- Social Service sector / programme management experience will be an advantage.

- Self-driven and a team player.
- Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications.
- Must be prepared to respond to programme needs outside of regular work hours when required
- Have a strong sense of urgency and responsibility
- Experience in working with persons with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities or related field is preferred
