SUN-DAC is seeking a Programs and Partnerships Executive to assist the HOD in planning, implementing, and evaluating inclusive programmes for persons with disabilities. You will work with staff, volunteers, and clients to create an environment that promotes growth and community integration.
The role involves designing engaging activities, coordinating logistics, monitoring progress, and building partnerships with schools and external organisations.
The Programmes and Partnerships Executive at SUN-DAC assists the HOD in planning, implementating, and evaluating programmes tailored for persons with disabilities (PWDs). This role focuses on ensuring the activities are inclusive, engaging, and aligned with the centre's vision and mission to enhance the quality of life for SUN-DAC clients. The Programmes and Partnerships Executive works closely with staff, volunteers, and clients to create a supportive environment that promotes personal growth and community integration.
Programme planning and develolpment
Assists in the design and development of engaging programmes and activities that cater to the diverse needs and interests of individuals with special needs
Conducts research on best practices and innovative approaches in programme delivery for individuals with disabilities
Programme implementation
Supports the execution of daily programmes and activities, ensuring they are conducted smoothly and effectively
Coordinates logistics for programme activities, including materials, scheduling, and resource allocation
Monitoring and evaluation
Assists in monitoring programme outcomes and client progress, gathering feedback to assess the effectiveness of activities
Contributes to the preparation of reports and evaluations for stakeholders, outlining programme successes and areas for improvement
School Engagement
Reaches out to schools for Value In Action projects and outreach to promote and advocate for PWDs
Supports the operation of school engagement including training, planning of the programme for students and managing the on-site engagement
Collaboration
Works closely with HOD and other team members to ensure that programme goals align with the centre's mission and objectives
Collaborates with external organisations, therapists, and specialists to enhance programme offerings and support for clients
Administrative Duties
Maintains accurate records of programme attendance, client progress, and other relevant data
Assists in budgeting and resource management for programme activities, ensuring efficient use of funds and materials
Any other duties assigned by HOD
Education
Minimum Bachelor's degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counselling, Project Management, or any related field
Experience
Experience in the Social Service sector, volunteer management, and working with PWDs will be an advantage
Skills
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, families, and stakeholders
Strong organisational abilities to manage multiple programmes and activities simultaneously
Ability to work collaboratively with team members, volunteers, and community and corporate partners
Creative thinking and adaptability to address challenges and make decisions in dynamic environments
Knowledge of programme design, implementation, and evaluation processes, particularly in a community setting
Proficient in using Microsoft Office and experience with data management systems
