Job summary

Luxoft Singapore is seeking an experienced L2/L3 Application Support professional to maintain production systems and ensure high availability. You will work with development, infrastructure, and business teams to investigate issues, perform root cause analysis, and support continuous service improvements.

The role emphasizes hands-on Unix/Linux and SQL skills, incident management, and strong collaboration across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or a similar L2/L3 role.
• Strong hands-on experience with Unix/Linux operating systems.
• Strong hands-on SQL skills, including query writing and data analysis.
• Proven experience supporting business-critical applications in production environments.
• Strong troubleshooting, incident management, and root cause analysis skills.
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Grafana and ELK.
• Exposure to MQ or Kafka messaging systems.
• Familiarity with CI/CD processes and release support activities.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and data-related issues.
• Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Execute SQL queries to analyze data and support business investigations.
• Utilize Unix/Linux environments for monitoring, diagnostics, and log analysis.
• Monitor application health using Grafana, ELK, MQ/Kafka, and related platforms.
• Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and business teams to drive timely issue resolution.
• Support deployment activities, release validation, and production readiness processes.
• Contribute to process improvements and operational excellence initiatives.
• Participate in on-call rotations as required.
