Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific PTE. LTD. is seeking an IT Support Specialist to handle Level 2/3 application support for Java-based production systems in Singapore. You will investigate incidents, analyze logs, reproduce issues, and implement fixes while maintaining documentation and adhering to SLAs.

The role involves collaborating with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business users, with a focus on stability and performance improvements.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of experience in IT with hands-on Level 2/3 application support
• Experience supporting Java-based applications in production environments
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical and problem-solving skills
• Proficiency in SQL, database querying, and scripting
• Familiarity with Jira, AWS and Linux is a plus

Responsibilities

• Investigate, troubleshoot, and perform root cause analysis for incidents and production issues escalated by Level 1 support
• Analyze application logs and system behavior to diagnose issues
• Reproduce reported issues through testing and validation
• Develop and implement fixes, workarounds, and data patches
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation and support procedures
• Monitor performance, response times, and system health to ensure availability
• Take ownership of incident and problem tickets and meet SLAs
• Provide application support during deployment and production releases
• Collaborate with developers, infrastructure teams, vendors, and business users
• Identify opportunities to improve stability, processes, and performance
