Job summary

Luxoft is seeking an experienced L2/L3 Application Support engineer in Singapore to maintain production systems, manage incidents, and perform root cause analysis. You will work with development and infrastructure teams, run SQL queries for investigations, and monitor health with Grafana/ELK.

You will leverage Unix/Linux expertise, strong communication, and ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. On-call rotations and CI/CD familiarity are part of the role.

Qualifications

• 4–6 years of experience in Application Support, Production Support, or similar L2/L3 roles.
• Hands-on Unix/Linux experience.
• Strong SQL skills for data analysis and troubleshooting.
• Experience supporting business-critical production applications.
• Proven skills in troubleshooting, incident management, and RCA.
• Familiarity with monitoring/observability tools (Grafana, ELK).
• Exposure to MQ or Kafka messaging systems.
• Knowledge of CI/CD processes and release support.

Responsibilities

• Provide L2/L3 application support for production systems, ensuring high availability and operational stability.
• Investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve application, system, and data-related issues.
• Perform incident management, problem management, and root cause analysis for production incidents.
• Execute SQL queries to analyze data and support business investigations.
• Utilize Unix/Linux environments for monitoring, diagnostics, log analysis, and automation.
• Monitor application health using Grafana, ELK, MQ/Kafka, and related tools.
• Collaborate with development, infra, and business teams to resolve issues.
• Support deployment activities, release validation, and production readiness processes.
• Contribute to process improvements and on-call/rotation coverage.
