Job summary

NEXBRIDGE RECRUITMENT PTE. LTD. in Singapore seeks a Production Planner to coordinate scheduling and ensure customer dates are met. The role requires close collaboration with Production and Project teams and a proactive approach to sequencing, material readiness, and risk mitigation.

You will maintain a planning master list, support expeditors, and generate weekly reports, contributing to on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and material readiness.
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Review and advise whether production meets customer dates.
• Collaborate with Production to execute the plan.
• Adjust planning for pull-in/push-out requests and when timelines slip.
• Review and update the production plan accordingly.
• Act as the key contact between Production and Project teams.
• Maintain clear communication with Production and Project teams.
• Review material readiness one week before kick-off.
• Work with Expeditor to drive production output per schedule.
• Develop contingency plans for potential delays.
• Proactively update the Project team on delays and reasons.
• Centralize information with a planning master list under the Master Scheduler.
• Generate weekly GRN reports per customer requirements.

Job Responsibilities

• Review and advise whether production is able to meet the customer’s required date for new loading.


• Work closely with the Production team to ensure production is executed according to plan.


• Adjust production planning for any pull-in or push-out requested by the Project team, or when production is unable to meet the scheduled timeline.


• Review and update the production plan accordingly.


• Act as the key point of contact between Production and Project teams.


• Maintain effective communication with Production and Project teams to ensure a clear understanding of customer needs and expectations.


• Review material readiness one week in advance before production kick-off.


• Work closely with the Expeditor to drive production output according to the planned schedule.


• Develop contingency plans for any potential behind-schedule scenarios before updating the Project team.


• Proactively update the Project team on any potential delays, together with supporting reasons.


• Centralize information and data by maintaining a planning master list, with ownership under the Master Scheduler.


• Generate weekly GRN reports according to customer requirements.

Requirements

• Diploma in Supply Chain, Logistics, Manufacturing, Engineering, or a related discipline.


• Relevant experience in production planning, master scheduling, production coordination, or supply chain is preferred.


• Good understanding of production planning, scheduling, and material readiness.


• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment and meet deadlines.
