Job summary

HP Singapore (Private) Limited is seeking a Program/Project Manager to lead cross-functional teams in engineering development and implementation. You will manage schedules, budgets, risk plans, and mentor junior staff while reporting progress to executives.

You will coordinate with product and contract manufacturing partners, drive process automation, and ensure alignment with product roadmaps and budgets, delivering on-time results.

Qualifications

• Four-year or Graduate Degree required; related discipline preferred.
• Typically 4–7 years of work experience in engineering development and implementation, project planning tools, and people management.

Responsibilities

• Manages and leads a program involving one or more functions and project teams to drive the engineering development and implementation process for a subsystem or component of a product or service offering.
• Leads moderate to high complexity projects, delivering professionally written reports, and supports the realization of operational and strategic plans.
• Understands technical concepts, architecture, systems, development methods, and disciplines to accelerate project completion.
• Leads deployment, launch, and continuous improvement of new technologies & processes within the company’s worldwide engineering team.
• Develops schedules, critical deliverables, budget, resource allocation plan, logistics, and other support requirements with both company and contract manufacturing teams.
• Coordinates activities of supporting project teams and internal/external partners; tracks progress and adjusts schedules and resources to meet requirements.
• Communicates program progress, escalations, and risk analysis to product stakeholders; collaborates to implement changes to product or process.
• Leads bug tracking resolution and reporting of risks, status, and options to executive management.
• Solves difficult problems with fresh perspective, demonstrates good judgment in choosing solutions and managing projects independently.
• Leads and mentors less-experienced staff members.
