Job summary

HP is seeking an experienced Electrical Hardware Engineering leader in Singapore to oversee multiple project teams through all stages of design and development. You will ensure compliance with technology guidelines, provide cross-organizational leadership, and drive innovation by integrating new technologies.

The role emphasizes mentoring, cost estimation, and collaboration with internal and external partners to deliver complex hardware solutions.

Qualifications

• Four-year or graduate degree in electrical engineering or related discipline.
• Typically 7–10 years of work experience in electrical design or related field.
• Experience with design tools, software packages, and architecture of electronic hardware is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads multiple project teams of electrical hardware engineers and external partners through all stages of design and development.
• Conducts part qualification via product quality plans, inspections, and manufacturing qualifications.
• Expands relationships with internal and outsourced partners on electrical hardware development.
• Reviews designs for compliance with guidelines and provides feedback to improve quality.
• Identifies trends and opportunities to optimize product output, quality, and cost of delivery.
• Provides domain expertise and leadership across cross-organization projects and programs.
• Develops cost estimates, business cases, and project plans for hardware engineering projects.
• Leads delivery of professional reports and supports strategic plans.
• Drives innovation and integration of new technologies into hardware projects.
• Mentors less-experienced staff to set standards in hardware design and development.
