Job summary

HP Singapore is seeking a Product Engineer to coordinate internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners across the product lifecycle, from introduction to end-of-life. You will perform engineering analysis of defective units and evaluate feedback from customers, manufacturing, testing and quality assurance processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent.
• Typically 4–6 years of experience in product engineering.
• Experience with engineering tools and software packages to test, design, and evaluate products and manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and lead the activities of internal and outsourced development and manufacturing partners across the product lifecycle.
• Perform engineering analysis of defective product units or sub-assemblies and evaluate results of customer feedback and QA processes.
• Communicate product and process issue analysis to product stakeholders and collaborate to implement changes to reduce defects, improve quality, and lower costs.
• Represent the product engineering team for all phases of larger and more-complex development and manufacturing projects.
• Provide guidance and mentoring to less-experienced staff members.
