Job summary

SCIMED (ASIA) PTE LTD is seeking a sales professional to manage existing accounts and drive growth in the Healthcare and Lifesciences sectors in Singapore. You will sell scientific instruments and medical devices and support product demonstrations with provided training.

The role requires 1–2 years of sales experience in the relevant industries, strong communication skills, and the ability to build relationships with customers and KOLs. CRM reporting is part of the duties.

Qualifications

• Degree in Life Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering or related field.
• 1–2 years sales experience in healthcare or lifesciences preferred.
• Exposure to lab equipment and R&D is a plus.
• Understanding of local academic, research or healthcare landscape.
• Goal‑oriented and sales‑driven.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
• Team player with hands-on initiative.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities

• Manage existing and growing new accounts in Healthcare and Lifesciences industries locally.


• Selling scientific instruments and medical devices such as diagnostic reagents with ability to support demonstrations (relevant trainings will be provided). Negotiating terms of sales and agreements and closing sales with customers.


• Provision of pre-sales and post sales technical and application advice to support customers.


• Business development of current and new products to increase relevant product range to maintain market leadership.


• Building and maintaining good relationships with prospective clients and key opinion leaders.


• Create, submit sales reports on our CRM software.

Requirements

• Degree in Life Science, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Engineering, Science related field


• Preferably with at least 1-2 years of sales experience in the relevant industries.


• Exposure to lab equipment and processes with R&D experience would be an advantage.


• Have an understanding of the local academic, research or healthcare landscape.


• Goal-oriented and sales-driven.


• Dynamic, self-motivated with excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills.
