Job summary

SAPPHIRE WINDOWS PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Junior Purchasing Executive to support procurement activities, vendor relationships, and inventory planning to ensure timely sourcing of materials and cost efficiency.

You will coordinate with Operations and Sales, convert purchase requests to orders, maintain records, and help develop SOPs for procurement processes in a fast-paced environment. Candidates should have a diploma or degree in SCM or related field and at least 2 years' relevant

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in SCM or related field required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant purchasing/procurement experience preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
• Strong negotiation, communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate vendor capabilities, quality, pricing and delivery terms to select suppliers.
• Build and maintain relationships with vendors for reliable supply and favourable terms.
• Manage the full procurement cycle, including converting PRs to POs.
• Monitor and analyse purchasing trends for cost control and decision-making.
• Identify price discrepancies and manage price changes.
• Maintain purchasing records and reports for accuracy.
• Plan and manage inventory levels, including safety stock calculations.
• Coordinate and monitor shipments to ensure timely delivery.
• Liaise with Operations and Sales to verify deliveries and resolve discrepancies.
• Develop, review, and improve SOPs for procurement processes.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement procedures.
