Job summary

FIRST PORT GLOBAL PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore to manage requisitions, source competitive bids, and negotiate terms with suppliers.

You will process orders, maintain precise records, and liaise with vendors on specifications and certifications to ensure best value. The role requires a diploma in a relevant field, 1–2 years of experience, and strong negotiation and organizational skills.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Engineering, Business Administration or Supply Chain Management.
• 1–2 years of experience or a good track record in a similar industry.
• Preferably experience in sourcing industrial products.
• Strong negotiation skills and ability to work independently.
• Basic understanding of Incoterms and logistics.
• ERP experience preferred but not mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Review purchase requisitions and liaise with the sales team.
• Source competitive bids from suppliers and negotiate terms.
• Prepare commercial evaluation and recommend best value quotations.
• Process orders and follow up on status.
• Maintain procurement records and documentation.
• Coordinate with vendors on specifications and certifications.
• Prepare updated activity reports as required by Management.
