Job summary

Search Personnel Pte Ltd seeks a Purchasing Officer to handle procurement within our manufacturing clients. The role requires issuing POs, sourcing suppliers, and evaluating quotations to secure favorable pricing and delivery terms.

The ideal candidate will have a Diploma in Administrative Management, Supply Chain, or related fields, at least 1 year in purchasing, and strong communication and negotiation skills. This on-site position is based in Singapore with a 5-day work week.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in Administrative Management, Supply Chain, Business or related discipline.
• At least 1 year of purchasing, procurement or related experience.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Able to coordinate with suppliers, internal teams and store staff.
• Organised, detail-oriented and able to follow up on orders and delivery timelines.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable updating purchasing records.

Responsibilities

• Issue purchase orders and purchase requisitions.
• Source and identify suitable suppliers.
• Compare quotations and evaluate supplier pricing.
• Negotiate pricing, credit terms and delivery schedules.
• Track orders and ensure timely delivery.
• Update order details in the internal database.
• Maintain purchase, delivery and invoice records.
• Coordinate with store staff on stock levels and storage matters.
• Support other purchasing duties as assigned.
