Job summary

GuangDong Import & Export Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking an experienced Purchasing/Procurement Specialist to source goods from local vendors and manage vendor relationships. You will negotiate pricing, monitor inventory, and process POs to support F&B operations.

The role requires 2–3 years in procurement, strong Mandarin communication, and proficiency with ERP and MS Office to drive cost efficiency and ensure timely deliveries. Office in Jurong; typical 8am–5pm schedule.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of purchasing/procurement experience in Food Services/ Food Manufacturing/ F&B.
• Familiar with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Proficient Mandarin to liaise with Mandarin-speaking associates.
• Strong product knowledge and sensitivity to market trends.

Responsibilities

• Source and procure goods from local vendors in line with company requirements.
• Negotiate with vendors for pricing, availability, and delivery schedules.
• Monitor inventory levels to meet operational demands.
• Analyze market prices to ensure competitive procurement pricing.
• Prepare and process Purchase Orders accurately and timely.
• Coordinate incoming deliveries and verify items, quantities, and quality.
• Maintain procurement records including supplier data and pricing history.
• Arrange returns of defective goods and process GRNs.
• Provide administrative support to the Purchasing Department.
• Conduct supplier evaluation and monitor performance for continuous improvement.
• Perform other ad hoc tasks as assigned by management.
