Job summary

GUAN HO CONSTRUCTION CO (PTE) LTD is seeking an Assistant/Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer to support purchasing and ensure timely delivery of general and bulk materials for projects. The role reviews supplier terms, pricing, and performance to reduce costs and monitors material budgets and wastage.

Responsibilities include coordinating with the project team for machinery leasing, maintaining supplier lists, handling ERP entries, processing debit/credit notes, and reconciling invoices.

Qualifications

• Knowledge on procurement processes.
• Experience in purchasing Import/ Export.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Microsoft Outlook (Email) and basic knowledge in ERP is an advantage.
• Organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist Senior Procurement & Logistics Officer in purchasing and ensuring timely delivery of all general and bulk materials used in projects.
• Review purchasing arrangements with suppliers including price, delivery, performance and discounts to achieve reduced supply-related transaction costs.
• Monitor and submit construction material cost fluctuation report to Quantity Surveyor.
• Coordinate with Project team in leasing/rental of construction machinery and purchase of construction material/equipment, and monitor/report usage.
• Negotiation with suppliers and vendors and enter ERP data for inventory control and procurement.
• Process and certify debit/credit notes for supplier materials and reconcile supplier invoices.
• Maintain main store and site store inventory counts and perform regular auditing.
• Ensure adherence to procurement policies and prepare procurement transaction reports as needed.
