Job summary

VANTAGE EQUIPMENT & SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a Purchase Clerk/Officer to support procurement for construction projects in Singapore. You will assist in sourcing, obtaining quotations, issuing POs and delivery orders, and coordinating with site staff.

Candidates should have at least an O-Level and 1 year in construction, be comfortable in a workshop, possess negotiation and MS Office skills, and be proactive and independent. Short notice start may be required.

Qualifications

• O-Level holder with minimum 1-year relevant experience in construction industry.
• Comfortable working in workshop environment.
• Experience to compare purchases and advise PM/OM on purchase conditions.
• Good negotiation skills to get the best price/quality ratio.
• Good interpersonal skills, proactive and independent.
• Proficient in MS Office applications.
• Applicants with less experience will be considered as Purchase Clerk.
• Able to start work within short notice period.

Responsibilities

• Assist in purchasing construction materials including sourcing and getting quotations.
• Coordinate with department staff for site requests.
• Issue and follow-up purchase orders and delivery orders.
• Issue of monthly invoices.
• Assist HOD in monthly accounts closing.
• Attend to miscellaneous administration tasks.
