Job summary

RUDOLF (SINGAPORE) PTE. LTD. seeks a proactive Purchasing Executive to support procurement, inventory management and cross-functional supply chain operations in Singapore. The role emphasizes data-driven purchasing, supplier coordination and process improvements to ensure timely deliveries and cost efficiency.

You will manage SAP-based purchasing records, monitor stock levels and collaborate with logistics partners, vendors and internal teams to optimise performance and reporting.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain/Logistics/Business Administration.
• 2–5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement, logistics or supply chain operations.
• Hands-on experience using SAP MM.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Execute purchase orders for chemicals and related materials from internal and external suppliers.
• Monitor and follow up on purchase orders to ensure timely deliveries and supply continuity.
• Liaise with suppliers on order status, lead times, shipment schedules and discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation within SAP.
• Manage documentation related to purchases, shipments, inventory transactions and supplier non-conformance cases.
• Review and verify freight quotations in coordination with freight forwarders to ensure accuracy and competitiveness.
• Support supplier performance monitoring through tracking of delivery reliability and service levels.
• Assist in identifying opportunities to improve procurement efficiency and cost effectiveness.
• Support audit and compliance requirements through proper maintenance of procurement records.
• Monitor inventory levels and support timely stock replenishment to meet business requirements.
• Coordinate closely with third-party logistics providers on import activities, warehousing operations and storage requirements.
• Ensure accurate inventory transactions and master data maintenance within SAP.
• Review stock movements, ageing and inventory health to support efficient inventory management.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
• Support initiatives to optimise inventory holding, storage utilisation and operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure smooth execution of supply chain activities.
• Prepare and maintain procurement, inventory and operational KPI reports.
• Analyse purchasing trends, inventory movements and operational data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Support process improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency, accuracy and service levels.
• Assist in maintaining data integrity within SAP and other business systems.
• Participate in supply chain projects, system enhancements and automation initiatives where applicable.
• Recommend practical improvements to strengthen purchasing and inventory management processes.
