Job summary

PROFESSIONAL TESTING SERVICES PTE LTD is seeking a diligentPurchasing/Store professional in Singapore to handle requisitions, supplier liaison and inventory control. You will manage purchases, supplier evaluations and ensure records in the ERP system are accurate.

Role requires attention to detail, good communication and the ability to coordinate local and overseas shipments. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply; Chinese language skills are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in purchasing, inventory or store operations; fresh graduates welcome.
• Proficient in Chinese for liaising with China-based suppliers and sourcing platforms.
• Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational, communication and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Process purchase requisitions, create purchase orders and follow up with suppliers on confirmations and delivery schedules.
• Source new suppliers, obtain quotations and evaluate pricing.
• Maintain accurate supplier, pricing, purchasing and inventory records in the ERP system.
• Monitor inventory levels and arrange stock replenishment to prevent shortages.
• Manage daily store activities: receiving, storing and issuing items to internal departments.
• Coordinate with internal departments on purchasing requirements and deliveries.
• Arrange local and overseas shipments and collection of purchased items.
• Follow up on supplier quality issues, returns and replacements as needed.
• Prepare purchasing reports and maintain proper documentation (COA, datasheets).
• Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures and assist audits and housekeeping.
