The ideal candidate has a Diploma in Supply Chain Management or related field with 2–3 years of experience, strong negotiation skills, and English communication abilities.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement or related field.
• 2–3 years purchasing/procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Strong knowledge of purchasing practices, supplier management and inventory control.
• Excellent negotiation skills with ability to establish mutually beneficial supplier relationships.
• Attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple suppliers and POs.
• Good communication in English with internal teams and suppliers.
• Analytical mindset to analyse data, identify trends and make data-driven decisions.
• Knowledge of quality standards and compliance requirements in manufacturing.
• Certification in Procurement or Supply Chain Management preferred.

Responsibilities

• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers and negotiate terms and pricing.
• Process purchase orders and track delivery schedules to ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast purchasing requirements to prevent stockouts.
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and audit-compliant documentation.
• Quality assurance of procured materials and resolve discrepancies with suppliers.
• Analyse supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed.
• Collaborate with production, finance and operations to optimise purchasing strategies.
• Stay informed of market trends and pricing fluctuations for informed decisions.
• Prepare purchasing reports and recommendations for process improvements.
