Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced Procurement Executive to provide maternity cover from 30 November 2026 to 19 March 2027 . The role will support procurement and supply chain activities for construction-related projects, covering sourcing, supplier management, tender activities, cost estimation, procurement governance and compliance.
The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams, suppliers and subcontractors to ensure materials and services are procured on time, at competitive cost and in accordance with established procurement policies.
Key Responsibilities
- Sourcing & Procurement
- Source and evaluate suppliers and subcontractors based on commercial terms, pricing, quality and service capabilities.
- Obtain and review quotations to identify suitable and cost estimation.
- Negotiate pricing, contractual terms and commercial conditions with suppliers.
- Coordinate procurement activities to ensure materials and services are purchased within project timelines and requirements.
- Prepare cost estimates for construction-related projects.
- Support procurement planning and ensure awarded purchases provide good commercial and technical value.
- Supplier & Vendor Management
- Conduct supplier assessments and qualification exercises.
- Manage the onboarding and registration of new vendors.
- Perform due diligence reviews for major and preferred suppliers.
- Monitor supplier performance and ensure vendors meet required procurement and compliance standards.
- Support category management activities and regional sourcing strategies where required.
- Tender Management
- Coordinate the preparation of tender documentation.
- Manage tender activities from issuance through evaluation and recommendation.
- Work with relevant stakeholders to assess supplier proposals from both commercial and technical perspectives.
- Procurement Governance & Reporting
- Maintain procurement procedures, records, databases and relevant ERP modules.
- Prepare procurement reports, including quarterly procurement reporting requirements.
- Monitor procurement activities to ensure adherence to internal controls and established procedures.
- Support the development and implementation of supply chain strategies, governance policies and procurement processes.
- Identify opportunities to improve procurement processes, controls and operational efficiency.
- Compliance & Team Coordination
- Coordinate and guide supply chain activities to support project and business requirements.
- Ensure procurement activities comply with applicable HSE, CRS, information security and internal company policies.
- Work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement requirements and timelines are met.
Requirements
- Relevant experience in procurement, purchasing, sourcing or supply chain .
- Experience supporting construction-related projects would be advantageous.
- Good knowledge of supplier sourcing, quotation evaluation and commercial negotiation.
- Experience in vendor assessment, qualification and due diligence.
- Familiarity with tender preparation, tender coordination and evaluation.
- Understanding of procurement governance, compliance and internal controls.
- Experience working with ERP or procurement systems would be advantageous.
- Good negotiation, analytical and stakeholder management skills.
- Able to manage multiple procurement activities and work effectively with suppliers and internal teams.
