Job summary

EVERISE CONSTRUCTION PTE. LTD. is seeking a procurement professional in Singapore with at least a Diploma/Certificate in SCM.

The role focuses on sourcing, evaluating, and negotiating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and favorable terms for construction projects. You will prepare and monitor purchase orders, coordinate with Engineering and Operations, and maintain accurate supplier records while ensuring timely deliveries and stock availability.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Management or related field is required.
• 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience preferred, preferably in construction.
• Strong negotiation, sourcing, and vendor-management skills.
• Proficient in MS Excel and MS Office.
• Fluent in English; good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Able to work independently and multi-task in a fast-paced environment.

Job Description

• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and vendors to secure competitive pricing, favorable terms, and high-quality products and services.
• Obtain, compare, and assess quotations from suppliers/vendors, and negotiate contract terms, pricing, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare, issue, and monitor Purchase Orders(POs), ensuring accuracy and timely processing.
• Coordinate with the Engineering and Operations teams to understand project requirements and ensure timely procurement of materials and services.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of purchases, deliveries, invoices, and supplier information.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with store personnel to ensure adequate stock availability and timely replenishment.
• Follow up on order status, delivery schedules, and resolve any procurement-related issues or invoice discrepancies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and evaluate vendor performance regularly.
• Ensure compliance with company procurement policies, procedures, and project requirements.
• Perform any other ad-hoc duties and responsibilities as assigned by Management.

Requirements

• At least Diploma/Certificate in Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Business Administration or a related field.
• Minimum 3 years of purchasing/procurement experience, preferably in the Singapore construction industry.
• Good knowledge of construction materials, equipment, and subcontractor procurement processes.
• Strong negotiation, sourcing, and vendor management skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Microsoft Excel.
• Fluent in English
• Able to work independently, multi-task and hardworking
• Strong analytical, communication, and interpersonal skills
• Familiarity with local construction suppliers, market pricing, and procurement practices will be an added advantage.
• Preferably able to commence within short notice.
