Job summary

CHINA COMMUNICATIONS CONSTRUCTION COMPANY LIMITED (SINGAPORE BRANCH) seeks an experienced procurement professional to lead sourcing, negotiations, and delivery monitoring for site-based projects in Singapore. You will drive procurement initiatives, manage supplier relationships and ensure compliant contracting practices to support construction activities.

The role requires a Bachelor degree in Engineering, 10 years in construction, strong MS Office skills, and the ability to work at a site

Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor Degree in Engineering or equivalent.
• Preferably with at least 10 years of working experience in the construction industry.
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
• Work well under pressure and able to work independently.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willing to work at site.
• Working Profile: 6 days.
• Work Location: Tuas area.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the purchasing process such as sourcing, negotiation and monitoring delivery schedule.
• Initiate, plan, drive and manage procurement initiated projects and initiatives.
• Negotiate contract terms and conditions effectively to ensure completeness, timeliness and compliance with guidelines and laws.
• Increase spending under management by driving sourcing with competitive bidding and controls.
• Ensure stable and cost-effective material supply for projects.
• Provide advice and support on procurement matters, risk, cost and benefit analysis.
• Establish good relationships with suppliers.
• Ensure purchasing documentation is complete and updated.
• Expert in market expansion, material procurement, logistics supervision, subcontractor administration and commercial contract negotiation.
• Provide reports to management.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.

• To ensure that all purchasing documentation is completed and information is updated.
• Expert in market expansion, material procurement, logistics supervision, subcontractor administration and commercial contract negotiation.
• Provides reports to the management.
• Other adhoc duties as assigned.
