Job Summary

The Procurement Executive is responsible for sourcing, purchasing, and coordinating the supply of materials, equipment, and subcontractor services required for construction projects. The role ensures timely procurement, cost efficiency, quality compliance, and adherence to project schedules while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.

Key Responsibilities

• Source and procure construction materials, equipment, and services in accordance with project requirements.
• Obtain and evaluate quotations from suppliers and subcontractors to ensure competitive pricing and quality.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status until delivery.
• Coordinate with project managers, site personnel, and quantity surveyors to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials.
• Liaise with suppliers regarding delivery schedules, product specifications, and quality requirements.
• Monitor inventory levels and arrange replenishment when necessary.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery schedules with suppliers.
• Resolve issues related to shortages, damaged goods, delivery delays, or non-conforming materials.
• Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and purchasing documentation.
• Evaluate supplier performance and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies, contractual requirements, and relevant regulations.
• Assist in preparing procurement reports, cost comparisons, and expenditure track.
