Job summary

Kinergy Corporation Limited in Singapore is seeking an experienced Sourcing professional to lead component sourcing for Mechanical Sheet Metal commodities. You will own cost-reduction initiatives, manage supplier networks, negotiate terms, and drive lead time improvements across procurement activities.

Work closely with Engineering, Operations and Product teams to plan and execute sourcing strategies, monitor market trends, and mitigate supply risks.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5–7 years of relevant work experience in sourcing.
• Experience in metal fabrication, plastics tool and die is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Manage component sourcing on Mechanical Sheet Metal commodities.
• Drive cost reduction and value creation through negotiations and alternate sourcing.
• Establish supplier networks and lead strategic supplier relationships.
• Identify redesign cost reduction opportunities.
• Improve lead times, payment terms and MOQs; optimize terms.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Operations and Product teams to execute procurement activities.
• Monitor market trends and mitigate procurement risks during build and production.
• Interface with Engineering on design changes and provide resolutions.

Job description

• - Manage component sourcing on Mechanical Sheet Metal commodities
• - Overall ownership to drive cost reduction and value creation initiatives through negotiations, alternate sourcing, localizations, VAVE, supplier consolidations
• - Establish wide supplier network to facilitate both Sourcing and Procurement activities, leading strategic relationships with critical suppliers
• - Identify redesign cost reduction opportunities
• - Drive component lead time improvement, Payment terms, delivery terms, MOQ/SPQ reduction and Optimizations
• - Develop and maintain strategic supplier relationships to meet quality, cost, delivery and capacity requirement
• - Collaborate closely with Engineering, operations and product team, plan & drive execution of all Procurement & Sourcing activities.
• - Monitor global market trend and implement proactive risk mitigation and contingency Strategies on EOL, Single source parts
• - Interface with Engineeringon design review/ECN/Part changes & provide resolutions on all technical issues.
• - AOS Management during build phase and initial production phase

Requirements:

• - Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• - Possess good experience in handing Metal Fabrications, Plastics Tool & Die
• - Min 5 -7 years of relevant work experience in Sourcing field
• - Good communication and interpersonal skills, good team player
• - Able to start work within short notice period willbe an added advantagey best practices in procurement and supply chain management
