Job summary

GRC Construction Pte. Ltd. is seeking a detail-oriented Purchasing and Logistics professional to manage supplier relationships, sourcing, and timely material procurement for project needs in Singapore.

You will work cross-functionally with project teams, coordinate with logistics, and ensure compliance with safety and regulatory requirements while optimizing cost and delivery performance.

Qualifications

• 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or logistics roles.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and select suppliers based on cost, quality, and delivery capabilities.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure optimal cost-efficiency and compliance to project requirements.
• Prepares Commercial Bid Evaluation and issue Purchase Order.
• Monitor inventory levels and forecast demand to ensure timely procurement of necessary materials.
• Collaborate with various departments to understand their purchasing needs and ensure alignment with company goals.
• Conduct supplier evaluations and performance reviews to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and resolve any issues related to delivery, quality, or invoicing.
• Liaison with Client's Logistics department to ensure smooth project execution.
• Ensure shipments comply with regulations and company policies regarding safety and environmental standards.
• Manage inventory control, storage, dispatch of goods.
• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, providing status updates to stakeholders.
• Coordinate with vendors on shipping information and delivery progress.
• Check submission of shipping documents from Vendors and obtain Client clearance prior to shipment.
• Coordinate with the warehouse on crating and packing of materials.
• Match invoices (Forwarders/Courier).
• Any other task as assigned by Supervisor.

• Manage inventory control, storage, dispatch of goods.

• Monitor and track shipments to ensure timely delivery, providing status updates to relevant stakeholders.

• Liaison with Vendors on the shipping information and tracking the progress of delivery.

• To check the submission of shipping document from the Vendor and get Client's clearance prior the shipment.

• Coordinate with the warehouse on all crating and packing of materials.

• Matching of Invoices (Forwarders/Courier).

• Any other task as assigned by Supervisor.

Job Requirements

• Diploma in logistics / supply chain or relevant field

• Able to work as a team

• 3 to 5 years of experience in purchasing, procurement or logistics roles. Experience in water industry is a plus

• To be required to work on site when necessary
