Job summary

Forte Employment Services Pte Ltd in Ang Mo Kio seeks a Manufacturing Process Engineer to sustain and optimize manufacturing processes and troubleshoot production issues. You will support bonding wire production activities and work with cross-functional teams to improve processes and update documentation.

The role requires a Bachelor of Engineering in related fields, strong troubleshooting skills, and knowledge of SPC/Statistical tools. Base location is Singapore, with a standard 5-day workweek.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Engineering in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical & Electronics or related field.
• Experience in resolving a manufacturing process and product issues independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of statistical tools (SPC, Minitab/JMP) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Sustain and optimize manufacturing processes.
• Troubleshoot production issues.
• Support daily bonding wire production activities related to process control and equipment performance.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing, Maintenance, NPI and Quality Assurance to improve processes, procedures, workflows and update FMEA, Control Plan, SOP documentation.

• Salary: Up to $5,500 - based on experienced

Responsibilities

• Responsible for sustaining and optimizing manufacturing processes
• Responsible for troubleshooting production issues
• Support daily bonding wire production activities related to process control, equipment performance
• Liaise closely with teams, including Manufacturing, Maintenance, NPI, and Quality Assurance, to develop and improve processes, procedures, workflows, and updating FMEA, Control Plan, SOP documentation

Requirements

• Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Physics, or related engineering fields
• Experience in resolving a manufacturing process and product issues independently.
• Strong troubleshooting and solving skills.
• Knowledge in statistical tools(SPC, Minitab/JMP) is preferred
