Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore seeks a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer for a 1-year contract at Boon Lay. Working hours are Mon-Fri 7.30am-5.15pm, with cover shifts if required.

You will support engineering during product development and transition to production, and design tooling and gauges for development and manufacturing. You will prepare process sheets and P charts, support plant trials and capability studies with QC, and train production staff on processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing/production experience.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Assist Engineering during product development and support smooth transition to production.
• Design and develop tooling, jigs, and gauges for development and manufacturing.
• Prepare process sheets and P charts for production use and monitoring.
• Support plant trial runs and conduct process capability studies with QC personnel.
• Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for production staff on processes, equipment and procedures.
• Maintain housekeeping to ensure a safe, clean, organized work area.
• Comply with all safety regulations and workplace requirements.
