Job summary
PERSOL OUTSOURCING SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. seeks an Engineering Production Specialist to support design during product development and to optimize tooling and processes at Rifle Range Army Camp.
The role covers creating tooling, improving productivity, leading trials, coordinating with QA, and ensuring safety and documentation compliance.
Candidates should have mechanical/industrial engineering education and at least 2 years in manufacturing, with CAD (SolidWorks) proficiency.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering.
- At least 2 years of manufacturing/production experience.
- Basic reading of technical drawings.
Responsibilities
- Support Engineering Design during product development with technical/manufacturing input.
- Design and develop production tooling, fixtures, and gauges for new products.
- Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes to boost productivity, quality, and cost.
- Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate corrective maintenance.
- Assist in production trials and work with QA on process capability studies.
- Prepare specifications, source suppliers, and oversee installation and commissioning of new machinery.
- Conduct OJT for production staff to ensure procedures and standards.
- Prepare and update technical docs including certifications and SOPs.
- Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
