Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore seeks a Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineer for a 1-year contract at Boon Lay. Working hours are Mon-Fri 7.30am-5.15pm, with cover shifts if required.

You will support engineering during product development and transition to production, and design tooling and gauges for development and manufacturing. You will prepare process sheets and P charts, support plant trials and capability studies with QC, and train production staff on processes and equipment.

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant manufacturing/production experience.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
• Familiarity with CAD software such as SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

Job description

1. 1 year contract (renewable/ convertible)

2. Working Location: Boon Lay

4. Salary range: $3800 + Completion Bonus

Job Responsibilities

• Assist the Engineering Department during the product development phase, supporting engineering activities and ensuring smooth transition to production

• Design and develop tooling, jigs, and gauges required for product development and manufacturing processes

• Prepare process sheets and Process Control Charts (“P” Charts) for production use and process monitoring

• Support plant trial runs and conduct process capability studies in collaboration with QC personnel

• Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for production staff on work processes, equipment, and operating procedures

• Maintain good housekeeping practices within the work area to ensure a clean, organized, and safe working environment

• Comply with all company safety regulations, procedures, and workplace requirements at all times

Job Requirements

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing/production industry
