Job summary

Talent First Pte. Ltd. in Singapore seeks a Manufacturing Engineer to lead NPI and process planning, develop routings and BOMs in ERP systems, and ensure manufacturability of designs.

You will drive process optimization, lean manufacturing, and the design of jigs and tooling, while performing root-cause analysis and supporting CAPA to prevent defects. The role emphasizes documentation and ISO/AS9100 compliance with a Mon to Fri, 9am-6pm schedule.

Responsibilities

• NPI & Process Planning – Develops manufacturing routings and BOMs in ERP systems such as BaaN/SAP, interprets technical drawings and CAD models, and ensures designs are manufacturable.
• Process Optimization & Lean Manufacturing – Improves cycle time, yield and material utilization through SPC, data analysis, Six Sigma and Lean methodologies.
• Jigs, Fixtures & Tooling – Designs and implements custom jigs, fixtures and cutting tools while supporting machinery and technology evaluation.
• Troubleshooting & Quality Improvement – Performs root cause analysis using 8D/Ishikawa, supports MRB activities and implements CAPA to eliminate recurring defects.
• Documentation, Compliance & Safety – Develops SOPs, work instructions and inspection documents while ensuring compliance with ISO 9001/AS9100, safety and environmental requirements.
