Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing Singapore Pte Ltd is hiring for a 1 year contract role located at Boon Lay. You will support the Engineering Design department, develop tooling and fixtures, and optimize manufacturing processes.

A degree in mechanical-related field and 2 years of manufacturing experience are required, with basic CAD skills (SolidWorks). The position involves training production personnel, creating technical docs, and ensuring health, safety and environment standards are followed.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing/production.
• Proficient reading of technical drawings.
• Basic CAD proficiency in SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Support Engineering Design during product development with technical and manufacturing input.
• Design and develop production tooling, fixtures, gauges for new products.
• Evaluate and optimize manufacturing processes for productivity, quality, cost.
• Identify bottlenecks, troubleshoot equipment, coordinate corrective maintenance.
• Assist in production trials and collaborate with QA for process capability studies.
• Prepare technical specs, source suppliers, oversee installation and commissioning.
• Conduct On-the-Job Training for production staff on procedures and standards.
• Prepare and update technical documentation including certifications and SOPs.
• Monitor production performance and drive continuous improvement.
• Ensure safety and environmental compliance in the workplace.
