Job summary

PERSOL in Singapore is seeking an Engineering Production Support on a 1-year contract (renewable/convertible) at Boon Lay. You will assist the Engineering Department during product development, design tooling, prepare process sheets, and support transition to production.

Responsibilities include process control charts, OJT, safety standards, and collaboration with QC; reading drawings and CAD proficiency required.

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering required.
• Minimum 2 years experience in manufacturing/production.
• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings.

Job description

• 1 year contract (renewable/ convertible)

• Working Location: Boon Lay

• Working Hours: Mon-Fri (7.30am - 5.15pm) + Cover shift if required

• Salary range: $3800 + Completion Bonus

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist the Engineering Department during the product development phase, supporting engineering activities and ensuring smooth transition to production

• Design and develop tooling, jigs, and gauges required for product development and manufacturing processes

• Prepare process sheets and Process Control Charts ("P" Charts) for production use and process monitoring

• Support plant trial runs and conduct process capability studies in collaboration with QC personnel

• Conduct On-the-Job Training (OJT) for production staff on work processes, equipment, and operating procedures

• Maintain good housekeeping practices within the work area to ensure a clean, organised, and safe working environment

• Comply with all company safety regulations, procedures, and workplace requirements at all times

Job Requirements:

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Mechatronic/Industrial Engineering

• Minimum 2 years relevant experience in manufacturing/production industry

• Basic ability to read and interpret technical drawings

• Basic proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks
