Job summary

DBS Asia Central is seeking an Executive Director, Relationship Manager for Private Banking with a Malaysia market focus. You will grow UHNW relationships, deliver bespoke wealth solutions, and collaborate with Investment Counsellors and Product Specialists to tailor advice.

You will lead acquisition and retention in offshore Malaysia, ensure regulatory compliance, and work with internal stakeholders to strengthen client journeys. Bachelor's degree and 15+ years' experience required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with extensive experience in private banking and UHNW client management.
• Deep knowledge of private banking products and the Malaysia market.
• Solid understanding of compliance and regulatory requirements.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with client focus.
• Team player capable of collaborating with multiple internal stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Grow the business through proactive acquisition and retention of HNW/UHNW clients within the offshore Malaysia market.
• Implement geographical focused strategy in line with the overall business strategy.
• Build and develop a deep understanding of clients’ investment needs.
• Provide sound financial advice to clients working with Investment Counsellors and Product Specialists.
• Be a strong advisor to clients in their wealth journeys and strengthen client relationships.
• Ensure compliance with bank and regulatory requirements.
