Job summary

DayOne is seeking a Presales Manager in Singapore to drive technical solutions for data center opportunities. You will identify customer needs, map them to DayOne offerings, and lead presales activities from concept to proposal.

In this role you will collaborate with clients, coordinate with internal teams on RFP/RFI responses, and deliver compelling technical proposals. A 5+ year background in data centers and strong communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years' experience in data centers or related field with a Bachelor's degree.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively work with the team.
• Strong multi-tasking skills.
• Positive mindset with strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to build and maintain relationships effectively.
• Drive for continuous improvement.

Responsibilities

• Identifies customer’s business needs, challenges, and aligns them with our proposed solutions
• Collaborate with clients to understand their capacity requirements and timing, ensuring our capabilities to meet their needs
• Proactively participate in the RFP process by coordinating with internal stakeholders and consolidating response for RFP/RFI packages
• Prepare and deliver technical solutions and proposals
• Assist with presales activities, especially for hyperscale cloud customers, enterprise and SME clients, providing comprehensive support and demonstrating a proactive approach to meet the customers’ needs.
• Maintain a strong understanding of available inventories, new site development and build schedules
• Possesses strong industry knowledge and be familiar with the competitive landscape.
• Be capable of leading and conducting site tours.
