Job summary

DayOne Data Centers Ltd. in Singapore is seeking a Senior Commercial Lead to drive and manage the commercial aspects of customer prospects across DayOne’s global portfolio of data centres. You will oversee profitability, review and negotiate contracts, pursue new business opportunities, and support sales and marketing strategies.

Extensive knowledge of ICT and data center markets is essential. This role is based in Singapore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Economics, Engineering, IT, or related field.
• 10+ years of relevant experience in business analysis, preferably in data centre/IT infra.
• Detail-oriented, self-motivated, with ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong commercial acumen and financial knowledge to build business cases.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic pricing for bids, RFPs, and non-standard products/solutions.
• Conduct commercial risk assessment for contracts and strategic initiatives.
• Review non-standard contracts with legal and other units.
• Drive the approval process for non-standard/capex-intensive proposals.
• Support Sales on pricing and costing of commercial proposals.
• Perform win-loss analysis and pipeline forecasting.
• Collaborate with Sales and Product on costing/pricing across markets.
• Review renewal/churn of service agreements with Sales.
• Propose process improvements and implement initiatives.
• Digitize commercial and quotation processes for efficiency.
