Job summary

DOU YEE ENGINEERING PTE LTD is seeking a proactive Pre-sales Engineer in Singapore to support security and surveillance solutions. You will engage with customers to understand requirements and propose practical technical solutions, delivering presentations and proposals as part of the sales cycle.

The role requires strong communication, presentation and problem-solving skills, with travel to customer sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Degree in Engineering, IT, Electronics or related field.
• Experience in technical sales, pre-sales, security systems, CCTV, access control, networking or related solutions is advantageous.
• Strong communication and customer-facing skills.
• Ability to translate customer requirements into practical technical solutions.
• Good presentation and problem-solving abilities.
• Willingness to travel to customer sites when required.
• Experience in CCTV, door access, security systems, drones or networking solutions encouraged.

Responsibilities

• Provide pre-sales technical support for security and surveillance solutions including CCTV, access control, and drone solutions.
• Engage with customers to understand security requirements, site needs and operational challenges.
• Recommend suitable products and solutions based on customer requirements.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations, demonstrations and technical proposals.
• Conduct site visits and assist in assessing customer requirements where necessary.
• Work closely with customers, suppliers and internal teams to develop suitable solutions.
• Prepare quotations, proposals, technical specifications and other sales-related documentation.
• Support the sales team throughout the sales process from enquiry to proposal and handover.
• Keep updated on security technologies, products and industry developments.
