Job summary

Certis is seeking a Presales Engineer/Manager (Electronic Security) in Singapore. You will design and position CCTV, access control, and intrusion systems aligned with client IT and cybersecurity requirements.

As the technical expert, you will assist Sales in understanding client needs, crafting secure designs, and ensuring seamless integration into client IT environments. Strong security and networking skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Electronics Engineering, or related field.
• 3+ years of experience in technical pre-sales, systems engineering, or solution architecture, specifically in physical security or IT networks.
• Proficiency with electronic security platforms (Milestone, Genetec, Avigilon, Lenel, Hikvision, Dahua, Gallagher).
• Strong IT networking fundamentals and knowledge of cybersecurity concepts.

Responsibilities

• Design integrated physical security solutions: IP Video Surveillance, Access Control, Intrusion, Intercom systems.
• Ensure designs comply with IT cybersecurity standards, including firewalls & encryption.
• Lead technical discussions, whiteboarding, and product demonstrations for prospects.
• Conduct site surveys to gather detailed client requirements.
• Prepare BOMs, technical proposals, compliance matrices and tender estimations.
