Job summary

NTU Singapore's School of Art, Design and Media seeks a Senior Executive/Assistant Manager to lead Academic Operations, Candidature Management, Programme Marketing, and Event Management for postgraduate research programs.

You will guide admissions, monitor candidature, coordinate examinations, manage scholarships, plan student events, and drive process improvements, ensuring rigorous academic standards and strategic coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with at least 4–5 years of progressive administrative experience in higher education or related field.
• Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Outstanding organisational and project management skills with ability to handle multiple priorities across timelines.

Responsibilities

• Manage admissions processes including evaluation, faculty matching, scholarship interview coordination, appeals handling, and policy-based decisions.
• Oversee candidature lifecycle for PhD and Master’s students, monitor milestones, intervene on at-risk cases, and resolve complex issues like extensions and supervision disputes.
• Coordinate qualifying and thesis exams, manage examiner nominations, international logistics, and documentation while ensuring exam integrity.
• Administer scholarships and financial matters including stipend disbursements, renewals, GA monitoring, and donor compliance.
• Plan student engagement events and workshops to foster a vibrant postgraduate community and support retention.
• Drive operational excellence using data analytics, process improvements, QA mechanisms, and policy documentation.
