Job summary

PERSOL Outsourcing is seeking a Platform Operations Engineer to ensure reliability and stability of client and internal systems. You will investigate issues, monitor critical systems, and contribute to projects and innovations.

The role requires strong Windows and Linux foundations, virtualization, hardware, and scripting capabilities. Responsibilities include incident triage, SLA attainment, vendor liaison, proactive improvements, documentation, and on-call support.

Qualifications

• Bachelor-level or higher in Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
• 4-8 years in an operational environment including physical and logical server platforms.
• Experience with ITIL or similar governance model.

Responsibilities

• Provide 1st level triage on client issues before escalation.
• Ensure infrastructure services meet KPIs and SLAs.
• Interface with vendors and exchanges.
• Maintain documentation with diagrams and reports.
• Perform preventative maintenance and on-call support.
• Automate deployment and maintenance tasks with scripts.
• Conduct root-cause analysis and daily infrastructure audits.
• Coordinate with auditors and manage change activities.
