Qualifications

Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.

Responsibilities

Operate, monitor, and maintain platforms across development, test, staging, and production environments.
Ensure platforms meet availability, performance, capacity, and SLA requirements.
Perform daily health checks and operational monitoring of infrastructure, applications, databases, middleware, and supporting services.
Manage platform configuration, patching, upgrades, maintenance, and lifecycle activities.
Support deployment and release of applications and platform components into production.
Maintain accurate operational documentation, configuration records, and runbooks.
Identify opportunities to improve platform stability, resilience, and operational efficiency.
Monitor platform alerts and respond to incidents in a timely manner.
Perform troubleshooting and root-cause analysis for infrastructure and application platform issues.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex incidents.
Participate in major incident management and service restoration activities.
Conduct post-incident reviews and implement preventive actions.
Support problem management and recurring issue remediation.
Operate cloud and on‑prem infrastructure, manage compute, storage, networking, containers, and VMs.
Assist with IaC provisioning using Terraform/Ansible where applicable.
Develop scripts to automate manual tasks and support CI/CD pipelines.
Promote standardised operational practices across environments.
Monitor security policies, access controls, logging, and compliance.
