Job summary

TEKISHUB CONSULTING SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on Platform Operations Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) to design, implement and operate scalable cloud environments.

You will work across IaC, monitoring, cloud operations and SRE to deliver secure, resilient platforms. The role requires 6+ years in cloud infrastructure or platform operations, strong automation skills with Terraform/Ansible, and experience with AWS or other public clouds.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or related discipline.
• 6+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure, platform engineering or infrastructure operations.
• Hands-on experience in IT infrastructure domains such as networks, systems or storage.
• Experience with AWS or other public cloud platforms.
• Experience with Terraform, Ansible, shell scripting, PowerShell or similar automation tools.
• Knowledge of infrastructure security principles and operational best practices.
• Familiarity with monitoring, observability or site reliability engineering concepts.
• Good problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
• Able to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement and support scalable cloud infrastructure platforms and services.
• Manage cloud networking, storage, virtual machines, serverless infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions.
• Build and maintain automated infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Ansible or similar IaC tools.
• Translate business, resiliency and security requirements into practical cloud solutions.
• Evaluate and recommend cloud technologies and solutions based on performance, cost and feasibility.
• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure for availability, performance and cost efficiency.
• Support system reliability initiatives using SRE concepts such as SLI, SLO and error budgets.
• Implement telemetry, monitoring and observability capabilities.
• Perform capacity planning and support future infrastructure scaling needs.
• Support operations involving SaaS platforms and Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments.

About the Role

We are looking for a hands-on Platform Operations Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure) to join a growing technology team supporting modern cloud platforms and services. This role is ideal for engineers passionate about cloud infrastructure, automation, reliability engineering and security.

You will be involved in designing, implementing and operating scalable, secure and resilient cloud environments, while working with modern tools across infrastructure-as-code, monitoring, cloud operations and site reliability engineering (SRE).

Key Responsibilities

Cloud Infrastructure & Engineering

• Design, implement and support scalable cloud infrastructure platforms and services
• Manage cloud networking, storage, virtual machines, serverless infrastructure and disaster recovery solutions
• Build and maintain automated infrastructure deployments using Terraform, Ansible or similar IaC tools
• Translate business, resiliency and security requirements into practical cloud solutions

Operations, Reliability & Optimization

• Monitor and optimise cloud infrastructure for availability, performance and cost efficiency
• Support system reliability initiatives using SRE concepts such as SLI, SLO and error budgets
• Implement telemetry, monitoring and observability capabilities
• Perform capacity planning and support future infrastructure scaling needs
• Support operations involving SaaS platforms and Government Commercial Cloud (GCC) environments

Security & Governance

• Support cloud security controls and improve security posture
• Troubleshoot infrastructure and security-related issues
• Participate in architecture and governance reviews
• Ensure compliance with relevant security and regulatory standards (e.g. IM8, Cloudscape where applicable)
• Conduct security assessments and recommend process or tooling improvements

Requirements
