Job summary

A leading manufacturing company in Singapore is seeking an experienced Production Manager to oversee high-volume production operations in the plastics industry. You will lead a team, monitor production performance, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to ensure quality standards are met. The ideal candidate has over 10 years of manufacturing experience with a focus on polymer processes. Strong leadership and communication skills, along with proficiency in Mandarin, are preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years’ production or manufacturing experience, 5 years in a leadership role.
• Experience in polymer and plastics industry preferred.
• Proficiency in Mandarin preferred for communication.

Responsibilities

• Oversee end-to-end plastics manufacturing workflows including extrusion and machining.
• Monitor KPIs like output and scrap rate, and implement improvements.
• Lead and mentor production supervisors across multiple shifts.
• Drive Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies to enhance efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards and contribute to strategic planning.
