Job summary

JonDavidson Pte Ltd is seeking a Plant IT Engineer to deliver IT support across manufacturing facilities. The role requires experience supporting IT systems in manufacturing, with exposure to MOM/MES applications and PlantIT/OT operations.

You will handle L1/L2 support for plant systems, coordinate with IT teams regionally, and assist with MES/MOM, ERP, and shop-floor integrations. Travel to regional sites is expected as needed.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of IT experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Basic understanding of plant IT systems and IT support operations.
• Good troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to coordinate with plant users and IT stakeholders.
• Good English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide L1/L2 IT support for plant systems, including MOM/MES applications.
• Troubleshoot technical issues and coordinate with regional/global IT teams.
• Support integration between MES/MOM, ERP, and shop-floor systems.
• Assist with system upgrades, rollouts, migrations, and deployments.
• Support testing, change management, and release documentation.
• Maintain IT asset inventories, user access records, and technical documentation.
• Assist plant users with onboarding, training, and day-to-day IT queries.
• Prepare incident and operational reports.
• Follow IT/OT cybersecurity and plant safety procedures.
• Travel between regional sites when required.

Good to Have:

• Exposure to MOM/MES platforms suchas Siemens Opcenter, AVEVA, or Apriso.
• Understanding of ISA-95 and IT/OTarchitecture.
• Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, webservices, and scripting.
• Awareness of PLC/SCADA systems.
• Knowledge of IIoT, Cloud, Industry4.0, and IEC 62443.
• Experience in food, agriculture,or process manufacturing.
• ITIL or relevant IT servicemanagement certification.
