Job Description
The Product Specialist is responsible for promoting and driving the sales of assigned NEW Supplement products within a designated territory. This role involves developing strong customer relationships, execution of marketing strategies, providing products timely updates and achieving sales targets.
This role requires maintaining a positive, self-motivated mindset, and applying a high level of product knowledge and business environment knowledge to ensure consistent sales group while upholding regulatory and ethical compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and detail SGOP Supplement products to doctors, pharmacists, nurses and other healthcare professionals (HCPs).
- Execute sales strategies and achieve or exceed territory sales targets by developing new business with existing and potential stakeholders.
- Aggressively buildup of product market share in respective sales territories
- Co- conduct and support product manager to deliver effective product presentations, CMEs, RTD, and sales activities aligned with marketing strategies.
- Analyse and update territory changes, HCPs/KOLs/Stakeholder data and prescriber behaviour on a regular basis.
- Timely report on sales, activity and territory performance as required by the company.
- Perform sales forecast and execution plan.
2. Customer Relationship Management
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with HCPs/KOLs/Stakeholders in hospitals, clinics, and pharmacies.
- Provide timely follow-ups and address HCPs/KOLs/Stakeholders product queries.
- Monitor competitor activities and customer needs in the assigned therapeutic area.
- Gather competitor intelligence and market feedback to provide actionable insights on a regular and monthly basis to support marketing team.
- Share insights and feedback with the product/marketing management teams to review strategies.
4. Reporting & Compliance
- Submit timely sales activity reports and customer visit documentation.
- Maintain accurate records of customer visits and sales activities.
- Ensure all sales/promotional activities comply with SGOP & SAPI (whichever is stricter).
- Ensure that market AE reports are appropriately documented and communicated to the appropriate PV manager in a timely manner.
Job Requirement
- Minimum 1–3 years of experience in pharmaceutical sales or healthcare industry. Sales experience in institutions would be an advantage.
- Prior experience in a multinational pharmaceutical company is an advantage.
- Valid driving license with your own transport to facilitate your work requirements.
- Experience in the Gynaecologic therapeutic areas is an advantage for this position.
- Experience in private hospitals, MOH settings will be an added advantage.
- A proven track record of engaging key stakeholders in complex clinical environments, such as mid- to senior-level healthcare professionals, key accounts, and the medical community.
- A dynamic individual, with an aggressive attitude towards achieving sales targets.

- Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building abilities.
