Job summary

Joyway Private Limited is seeking a proactive Digital Marketing Specialist to plan, set up and optimize SEM campaigns, with a focus on Google Ads. You will conduct keyword research, craft compelling ad copy, build audiences and structure accounts to meet client goals.

You will monitor performance, manage budgets, set up conversions, and present clear insights to clients. Collaboration with design, web and content teams is essential to deliver results and exceed expectations.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Marketing, Business, Communications or related field, or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years hands-on experience managing Google Ads accounts.
• Able to set up, manage and optimise Google Ads end-to-end without supervision.
• Working knowledge of Google Analytics and conversion tracking.
• Able to interpret campaign data and give practical, actionable recommendations.
• Good communication and presentation skills, both written and verbal.
• Comfortable meeting clients and handling their requirements and expectations.
• Organised, able to handle multiple client accounts and meet deadlines.
• Independent worker: plan tasks, make decisions and solve problems with minimal guidance.
• Able to attend calls or respond to urgent client requests during weekends when required.

Responsibilities

• Plan, set up and manage SEM campaigns, primarily Google Ads, based on client objectives and targets.
• Conduct keyword research, write ad copy, build audiences and structure accounts independently.
• Monitor campaign performance daily and weekly, manage client budgets and adjust for leads and conversions.
• Set up and maintain conversion tracking (Google Tag Manager) and ensure data accuracy.
• Meet and communicate with clients to understand business goals and marketing needs.
• Translate client requirements into practical digital marketing campaigns and recommendations.
• Prepare regular campaign reports and explain performance, insights and next steps clearly.
• Handle client questions professionally, including when results fall short of expectations.
• Work closely with internal teams to coordinate execution and meet deadlines.
• Support SEO activities such as keyword research, on-page optimisation and performance tracking where needed.
• Stay up to date with digital advertising trends and Google Ads changes and apply them to live campaigns.
