Job summary

Recruit Express Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Payroll Specialist to run high-volume payroll accurately and compliantly, spanning data capture, validation, calculation and disbursement.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Accounting, HR, Business or related discipline.
• Hands-on, end-to-end payroll experience including Singapore statutory compliance.
• Experience in high-volume or shared services payroll.
• Strong knowledge of CPF and IRAS requirements.
• Proficient in payroll systems and Microsoft Excel.
• Meticulous with strong reconciliation skills.
• Good communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to meet tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

A large corporate shared services centre is looking for a Payroll Specialist to run high-volume payroll accurately and compliantly. You will own payroll execution from data to disbursement.

What You'll Be Doing

• Run the full payroll cycle, including weekly, monthly and year-end processing
• Perform hands-on processing, checking, reconciliation and issue resolution
• Maintain and verify employee payroll data
• Process salary disbursements, CPF contributions and government claims
• Prepare IRAS submissions, including Form IR8A and appendices
• Compute bonus provisions and support financial close
• Prepare monthly GL payroll postings and bank reconciliations
• Review processes to ensure statutory and regulatory compliance
• Resolve payroll queries from employees and stakeholders
• Guide and support junior team members

What You'll Bring

• Diploma or Degree in Accounting, HR, Business or a related discipline and above
