BreadTalk Group is hiring for an HR Operations & Payroll role in Singapore. You will support day-to-day HR operations, onboarding/offboarding, and maintain employee records. You will also manage end-to-end monthly payroll processing, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements.
The role requires a Diploma/Degree in HR or related field and at least 3 years of HR experience with payroll processing. SAP ECP or BIPO Payroll knowledge is a plus.
Provide day-to-day operational support across various HR functions including but not limited to onboarding & offboarding. The role will work closely with HRBPs in supporting divisions/business units to ensure smooth employee lifecycle management and HR service delivery.
The incumbent will also be responsible for end-to-end monthly payroll processing, payroll related reporting, statutory requirements and maintaining accurate and timely payroll records.
Provide support for smooth running of day-to-day HR operations.
Improve the quality of HR transaction processing, by tracking & monitoring workflows.
Support end-to-end employee lifecycle processes including but not limited to onboarding and offboarding, employment contract preparations and HR letters.
Provide first-level HR guidance and support to employees and internal stakeholders on HR policies and processes.
Provide general administrative support (data entry, filing, attending to HR related enquiries) to the HR team to ensure smooth operations within the team and inter-department.
Manage work pass applications, renewals, issuances and cancellations
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee information in HR systems.
Participate and support a diverse variety of HR projects or initiatives e.g.: system testing and UAT.
Any other job-related tasks as assigned.
Manage and execute end-to-end monthly payroll processing accurately within stipulated timelines.
Ensure payroll transactions, including salary adjustments, allowances, overtime, incentives, deductions, and final payments are processed accurately and in compliance with company policies and statutory requirements.
Administer monthly payroll related activities, including attendance, leave management, claims administration, statutory submission and tax related matters.
Prepare monthly payroll reports and any related report in accordance with department’s requirement.
Calculate and process final payments for resigned/terminated employees, including salary, overtime, leave and other applicable payments.
Handle IR21 tax clearance submissions for foreign employees.
Investigate and resolve payroll queries raised by employees or HR team.
Support payroll audits and ensure strong governance and internal controls are maintained.
Diploma/Degree holder in Human Resources Management, Business Administration or related disciplines.
Minimum 3 years of relevant HR experience, with hands-on experience in payroll processing.
Good understanding of Singapore payroll practices and statutory requirements.
Knowledge in Employment Act, MOM regulations, CPF scheme and tax regulations.
Strong numerical aptitude, with the ability to work confidently with large volumes of data and figures.
Detail-oriented, well-organized and able to manage multiple priorities within tight timelines.
Experience with SAP ECP / BIPO Payroll will be an added advantage.
