Job summary

ONYX SG PTE. LTD. in Singapore is seeking a Payments & Invoicing Executive to join our Trade Operations team on a 1-year renewable contract.

You will manage the full transactional cycle, generating invoices, credit notes, and recurring bills using our in-house system. You will raise disbursement instructions to Finance for timely vendor remittances, support month-end reporting, and collaborate with Trade Operations to resolve documentation discrepancies.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in finance or accounting or related field.
• Experience in trading, logistics or billing environment is advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial numbers.

JOB DESCRIPTION

A global metals and mineral trading MNC are currently looking for a Payments & Invoicing Executive to join their Trade Operations Department under a 1-year renewable contract.

The Payments & Invoicing Executive will manage the full transactional cycle, utilizing the in-house trading system to generate daily sales invoices, credit notes, and recurring bills. You will also raise disbursement instructions to the Finance team to facilitate timely vendor and counterparty remittances. Beyond processing high-volume transactions, you will ensure accurate record-keeping for audits and month-end reporting, collaborating closely with Trade Operations to resolve any documentation discrepancies. As you establish yourself in the role, you will also be given the valuable opportunity to learn and handle trade finance tasks, such as vetting Letter of Credit (LC) instruments.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's degree in finance/accounting, or Supply Chain/Logistics
• Background in a trading, logistics, or billing environment is a strong advantage
• 1 to 2 years of relevant experience.
