Job summary

The Edge Partnership Holdings Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Trade Finance Executive on a 1-year contract to support end-to-end trade financing activities in a fast-paced commodities environment in Singapore.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of relevant trade finance experience
• Solid understanding of trade finance products and financial terminology
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Treasury Management systems
• Strong attention to detail, proactive, and able to perform under pressure
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams
• Able to prioritise and multi-task in a dynamic work environment

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with operations, trading teams, and financial institutions to manage trade finance instruments, including letters of credit (L/Cs), standby L/Cs, and financing arrangements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of trade documentation with sales and purchase contracts.
• Monitor ongoing trades and elevate issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with banking partners – covering RMAs, confirmations, discounting quotes, credit facilities, operational matters, issue resolution, mandate maintenance and KYC requirements.
• Prepare monthly and annual financing plans for assigned trades.
• Support ongoing process improvement projects.

• Coordinate with operations, trading teams, and financial institutions to manage trade finance instruments, including letters of credit (L/Cs), standby L/Cs, and financing arrangements.
• Ensure accuracy and compliance of trade documentation with sales and purchase contracts.
• Monitor ongoing trades and elevate issues promptly to relevant stakeholders.
• Manage relationships with banking partners – covering RMAs, confirmations, discounting quotes, credit facilities, operational matters, issue resolution, mandate maintenance and KYC requirements – while building strong, effective working relationships with external banking stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly and annual financing plans for assigned trades.
• Support ongoing process improvement projects.

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of relevant trade finance experience, ideally with a commodity firm.
• Solid understanding of trade finance products and financial terminology.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Treasury Management systems/applications.
• Strong attention to detail, proactive, and able to perform under pressure.
• Effective communicator with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate across teams.
