Job summary

Raffles Medical Group is looking for a patient-focused clinic assistant to join our front desk team. You will handle patient enquiries, update registrations, and coordinate appointments across multiple specialties within the group.

You will assist clinicians, manage basic clinical tasks, and support daily billing and smooth clinic operations. Shift work including weekends/Public Holidays is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum educational qualification: GCE ‘O’ Level, NITEC, or Diploma.
• 1–2 years of clinic experience preferred.
• Meticulous, organized and able to multitask.

Job Responsibilities:

• Attend to patient enquiries at the counter and provide information on clinic services.
• Update patient registration details and process medical records in accordance with standard operating procedures and clinic guidelines.
• Liaise with medical teams and patients to arrange appointments across different medical specialties and clinics within the Group.
• Assist doctors and nurses with basic clinical tasks when required.
• Collate laboratory and radiology results for doctors’ review and follow up accordingly.
• Perform daily billing and ensure accurate transactions, including closing of accounts.
• Support smooth clinic operations and provide excellent front-line patient service.

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE ‘O’ Level, NITEC, or Diploma in any discipline.
• At least 1 to 2 years of working experience in a clinic setting is preferred.
• Meticulous, organized, and able to multitask effectively.
• Good customer service and front-line communication skills.
• Able to work well in a team and in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Computer literate, with the ability to use MS Word, MS Excel, and patient registration systems.
• Must be able to commit to shift work, including weekends and Public Holidays, based on a rostered schedule.
